• Wipe the chalkboard surface clean before washing.

• Turn the shirt inside out.

• Machine wash in cold water.

• Use only non-chlorine bleach if needed.

• Iron the shirt inside out to protect the chalkboard surface.

Regular chalk is recommended, but you can use chalk markers. If a shadow remains after wiping with a damp cloth, follow up by cleaning the surface with a magic eraser sheet.

First, shake the marker well. Test the marker on a separate surface by pressing the tip up and down until the ink flows. Once the ink is ready, you can use it on the chalkboard surface.
